Bastille Market: Fruits & Vegetables

I’m not a vegan but I LOVE fruits and vegetables, it’s part of my daily diet and I cannot live without it.

Almost every day I eat green salads with seafood for lunch. I prepare my little lunch box every morning before I go to work. Because I am not in the office every day I make sure it’s easy for me to eat the salad even in the car. In fact many times I eat my lunch in the car—not joking.

At any rate, I have taken a number of pictures of the fruits and vegetables sold on the Bastille Market AKA Richard Lenoir Market that is only open during Sundays.

Sundays in Europe are quiet. It is 2012 but capitalism and 24-hour shops have still a long way to go. Most stores are close during Sundays thus the Bastille Market is a great alternative to spend a slow day in Paris, as well as experience the local culture, mingle with the local people and eat local food.
