Sigri, charming fishing village in the eastern tip of Lesvos

Another town we went to with the scooter is Sigri located in the eastern tip of Lesvos facing the elongated island Megalonisi. The ride to this town was horribly windy. Dutchman and I were fighting against the wind as we climb down the zigzagged mountain road to the shore.

We realised that not many tourists come to Sigri, maybe it has something to do with its location, I am not really sure. When we were there, only a few people were going about in the village except for the Cavo di Oro restaurant where lunch diners gave life to its terrace.

Although Dutchman does not agree with me (he finds the place boring and quiet), I still find Sigri quite charming although not as pretty as the other little Greek villages. There is a sense of peace and tranquility here.

It was also here that I made my own mojito at the Cavo di Oro restaurant. It was, shall I say, a nice neophyte try at cocktail making, haha.

Here are my pictures:

As you can see it is a very windy part of Lesvos!
