Before this trip, I did not know much about Zell. I have been to the Mosel River before but didn't really pay any attention to the small (wine) villages. It's usually on our second and third visits that we would go farther out the beaten path and explore the less popular ones. The Boos von Waldeckhof is a popular historical landmark in Zell. It sits across the river where the church and the tourist office are located.

Around this time of the year (September), Dutchman and I went on an extended 3-day weekend getaway in the Mosel River area in Germany.

One of the things that are really cool about the Greek Islands is being able to plane spot up close. How cool is this? Planespotting from a cafe?

One of the really nice dinners we've had in Skiathos, in terms of stunning views, was at Sofia's Family Restaurant, Café & Bar. Sofia's Family Restaurant from the Church's hilltop square.

After a busy day out with Dahl, she finally brought me to her part of the world, to her safe homestead, far away from the hectic civilization of Auckland City.

My second day in Auckland was spent with Dahl, a lovely friend who I met a many moons ago. Our lunch at Soljans Estate Winery. I am feeling lucky with my fish n chips.

After all that I have seen and done on my first day in Auckland downtown city center, I was finally ready to visit the Sky Tower for the 360-degree city views.
