So I have indeed decided to embark on another road trip (in a few hours!). Tomorrow is a holiday here so might as well make the most of a very looong weekend. I will be staying outside Munich in a real Bavarian hotel, just a little bit south of the city as I will be doing day trips to Neuschwanstein Castle in Schwangau and the alpine city, Salzburg, Austria. I’m just back from the Caribbean, from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Stayed in a 5-star resort with an all inclusive plan. Quite a luxurious and wicked indulgence getaway indeed for the Global Sales Team. To kick off the business in 2009, the powers-that-be sure know how to tease us a bit and get us in the groove... while for the rest of the year we will be whipped like a (worn-out) horse on the treadmill. Heh, that is reality in sales. I am the only girl in the team, which sometimes has its own advantages =) Well, honestly, I am so glad to be back in the real world. I don’t think I can handle too much of the savoury and unhealthy food at the resort. Too much and too many wrong gastronomic temptations.. They only make my belly grow to wild proportions! Now I am back to my exercises, back to meager eating, and back to healthy eating. I think I am more happy with this. I am not religious. I do not believe in religion or a god. But I like to go along with the flow and cheer with everyone the yuletide season. Largely for the real meaning behind the festivities before the spiritually and politically correct religious institutions took control and indoctrinated the once trusting society.
