Glitzy French Riviera: Cannes
When we think of the French Riviera (the Cote d'Azur region), there are two cities that top the list on our minds: Cannes and Monaco - well, the latter being actually a country itself. These two communes are utterly world famous that writers, journalists, and the rest of the media industry hails them as ‘the place to be’. I guess that’s about as much introduction I can truly make or add really. Glitzy Cannes (Uh, huh...?) I took this foto just right after a grueling search for a parking spot. I lost 30 minutes going back and forth on Promenade de la Croissette with a mad persistent French granny on the wheel trailing me behind and brusquely trying to squeeze her car into any available space she can maneuver into – traffic is infuriating in Cannes!, until I found the underground parking from where I stood to take this picture.
