Amazing city views of Seoul from N Seoul Tower

You will only see these amazing city views if you go up the N Seoul Tower in Namsan. Simply breath taking and gorgeous skylines!

This view above of Seoul is Jung-gu (central Seoul) and Myeongdong is right below. Further towards the mountains is Jongno-gu (historical Seoul).

OK, so I went up the tower with what they call as the shocking elevator ride. I’m not sure what’s shocking about it except that it went so fast like a bullet. I’ve ridden in many super fast elevators so this is nothing special and shocking to report. The ceiling of the elevator though is cool because during the entire quick ride it explodes with animation, colour and light effects. Nothing shocking, just cool and surprising.

Seoul has many skylines so it is difficult to get a whole panoramic skyline of the city but here is a lovely panorama of Seoul (in the south with Gangnam skyline) I found on the net: Seoul Panorama

And here are the rest of the panoramic views I shot and I will try my best to identify which part of Seoul they are. I did not realise that Seoul is such an incredibly super massive cosmopolitan city!!! Seoul is a jungle out there =). Below is Jung-gu (central Seoul) and further behind Jongno-gu (historical/old Seoul).

This is facing Dongdaemun-gu (farther) and Seongdong-gu (lower right):

This part is looking towards Seodaemun-gu and Mapo-gu I think:

Moi of course taking a souvenir shot, as always.

Yes, the white buildings further afield are still part of Seoul. The city is massive!

Here you can see the Han River. Across the river (right) is Gangnam-gu I believe. In Gangnam you can find the tallest skyscrapers in Seoul. It is too bad that I do not have a great shot. The light was against my camera that day.

Yongsan-gu, the back part of Namsan and the Han River. Across the river is Seocho-gu (left) and Dongjak-gu (right). I am against the light here so the picture looks like it is wiped out. The trials of only having a point and click camera.

More details of the skyscrapers around Seoul:

Above is actually a poster that I copied by taking a picture of it.

So what’s next? A lunch date with myself in the tower. Stay tuned.
