Breath Taking Zakynthos: Navagio Beach Postcard
When people talk about Zakynthos, people always think, refer and identify the island with picturesque Navagio Beach AKA Shipwreck Beach, the island's most famous resident not-so-secret-anymore white sand cove beach with the abandoned rusty Turkish smuggler ship called MV Panagiotis that ran ashore as its perfect accessory in the middle.
There are only 2 ways to get to this beautiful and breathtaking beach:
(1) Boat
(2) Helicopter
Navagio does not only represent Zakynthos Island in the Ionian group of islands but it also has more and more become a tourism symbol and postcard (together with Santorini) of Greece.
I took the postcard foto above the cliffs during our mope road trip. Navagio Beach or Shipwreck Beach is also known as Smuggler's Cove.
