Twilight in Brugge (Bruges)

Everyone knows that Brugge is cute and romantic. As a matter of fact, many tourists skip the rest of Belgium and hop over to Brugge. Interestingly, there were so many English couples on holiday when we were there. Cafes and restaurants are even named tea rooms.

Grote Markt, Brugge

Before calling it a night and leaving Brugge, Bru and I checked out the Grote Markt (main market square) again and we decided to settle for some hot tea and waffels at De Beurze Restaurant (left building on the picture above).

Last stop at De Beurze Restaurant

These are really restaurant made whipped cream. Too creamy for moi perhaps but this sure is top quality whipped cream. Finely made. Bru said that every restaurant must make their whipped cream from scratch and not serve those commercialised ones. I agree!

I cannot really say goodbye to Brugge because I know that I will be seeing her again. Maybe not in the coming months or years, but for sure I will be seeing her again somewhere down the road.

Here are my other Brugge entries during our visit:
