Our stay at Hatten Hotel in Malacca, Malaysia
For our first leg in Malacca, my parents and I stayed at the Hatten Hotel Melaka which is located just on the ridge of the historical centre. We liked this hotel for many reasons.

We booked the Deluxe Suite and these are the things that we loved about this hotel:
(1) The room is huge and very comfortable.
(2) Floor to ceiling windows and views. I love having a view always.
(3) The sitting room is nice, divided by a glass panel with etching design from the bedroom so it gives an illusion of space.
(4) Two flat screen TV. So my father can watch his news late while we sleep.
(5) The bed is massive and nice. Three people can sleep in this super king size bed.
(6) Breakfast buffet was impressive with different food stations. I didn’t get to take a picture though.
(7) Very nice infinity pool with views to the city
(8) Location is across a shopping mall and just a 5-minute walk to the A Famosa Portuguese fort ruins.
(9) Wifi in the room.
(10) Complimentary parking, although we did not use it.
My parents really loved their stay here so that’s really what matters. Their only complaint was the walk to the centre, but that is for my mom. For anyone who does not have any mobility issues this is a very nice and comfortable hotel to stay.

The hotel was selling mooncakes in a mock Louis Vuitton Speedy-like red bags. It was the Chinese Ghost Festival month when we were there.
