Finally Booked! Singapore, Bangkok (Thailand) and Bintan (Indonesia) in a few weeks

And I managed to book my flight with a good price from KLM (*happy*) which was very timing as they were offering their KLM Five Days of Offers promotion last week. I managed to save more than €200 on my ticket.

The icing on the cake here is that my flight is going to be a direct flight (flying into Singapore). I always do my best to avoid flights with connections and stops as they are a waste of time for me. I do not have a lot of vacation days so I maximise every single vacation day as much as I can. The last time I did a stopover was the Dubai thing as I wanted to visit the city. That said, I am always willing to fork out a bit more just to get a direct flight. Luckily, the deal I was able to snag was a direct flight itself!

Anyway, I have been to Bangkok and Singapore before but if you people have some tips for me, especially new cool places to visit, eat at, whatever... please feel free to share. It will however be my first time in Bintan Island so any tips are of course more than welcome.

I am travelling next month, November and this trip is all about family. I am meeting my parents in Singapore where my sister lives and we will be going for side trips to Bangkok and Bintan. I go back to Asia every year to visit family. It has become a tradition for me.

Flag of Thailand. Going to Bangkok with the parents!

Flag of Indonesia. An island holiday in Bintan with the whole family to end the trip.
